Here it is: Blake Griffin vs Kevin Love Part 3.

There might not be two more lusted after power forwards on the internet than Kevin Love and Blake Griffin. One has managed to turn the art of rebounding into… well… better art? The other has managed to turn dunking into a sexually gratifying experience.

Kevin Love is rebounding at a clip you just don’t see these days. Blake Griffin is creating highlights at a clip we haven’t seen since when Vince Carter was fun to watch (LONG time ago).

Tonight, they square off again for the third time this season. While the teams have split the first two games, Griffin has outplayed and even out-rebounded Kevin Love throughout this brief match-up’s history.

Blake is averaging 24 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 61.8% from the field and 46.2% from the FT line. Love’s averages against Griffin are 18 points, 12 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 55% from the field and 85.7% from the FT line. With very little defense being played by either, we should be in for quite the battle between the two.

Let’s check out how these two players compare to each other:

Across the board, everything looks pretty even. So it will truly come down to a matter of who wants it more.

  1. Loved the “Vertical Leap” and “Season Highlight” for Blake Griffin. So funny and so true.
