To be completely honest with you, I had no idea who Nicolas Borsellino of the Uruguay National Team was until a few minutes ago. I don’t know if he had a family. I don’t know how long he had been playing basketball. I don’t know where his career had taken him other than Mexico in 2015 to play for Uruguay in the FIBA Americas tournament.

All I know is I saw him standing in the way of Andrew Wiggins, backpedaling in a desperate canter to get in position to be an obstacle in the path of the Minnesota Timberwolves’ young star. Next thing we knew, he was nothing more than a poor prop in a dunk highlight for Wiggins.

Wiggins finished with 18 points on 7-of-13 from the field and 2-of-4 from 3. He was also 2-of-3 from the charity stripe and had six rebounds, two steals, an assist, and four turnovers in 22 minutes. Canada won 109-82.
